Hello!
With a mother as an acupuncturist, people seldom ask why I chose to look into
massage therapy. The holistic health industry sold itself.
At a young age I developed the passion to help people help themselves naturally and
that is my goal as a therapist today. I am a graduate of the 750 hour program at the Louisville
School of Massage, with a great deal of training in addition to two formal semesters of hands-on practice in Student Clinic and Palpation
Lab, participation in over 18 volunteer Community Events, and an internship at Bridgehaven
Opportunity House. In addition, I have a unique talent that i enjoy sharing with others. In March, 2008, I earned my National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
I am also a junior at the University of Louisville. I was on the women’s
rowing team my freshman year, and believe to have developed a passion for
Sports Injury and Rehab from this atmosphere. My teammates call me to
this day for help with the array of problems from which athletes can suffer. At
U of L, I currently claim a double major in business and sports administration
only because I haven’t decided between the two. I am now also a member of U of L’s marching band, for which I
play the clarinet, Go C-A-R-D-S!
